When you sign up for Dub.co, you have the option to choose between the default dub.sh domain or your own custom domain to create short links.

The Dub.co link builder
There are 3 ways to open the Dub.co link builder to create a short link:
- Slowest: Click on the "Create link" button on the dashboard.
- Faster: Use the keyboard shortcut

Inside the link builder are the following fields:
- Destination URL: The URL that you want to shorten.
- Short link: The short link that will be generated for you. You can generate a random slug by clicking the "Randomize" button or by typing in your own.
